REVIEW BOOKS I NEED TO GET TO ASAP… AND WHY I HAVEN’T BEEN.

( can we talk about the fact that I took this photo that the header is made with & am very proud of myself? okay thanks, back to your regular scheduling )

Hi guys and welcome to a small update post. This last month of my life has been beyond hectic, besides it being christmas season, I work in retail & our manager fell sick so I’ve had to take on WAY more hours which has lead to me coming home after a shift, and just falling asleep. Fast forward to the 30th of December and I realized I didn’t even have a single January post set up, where as I normally start setting them up around the 20th. and to top it off ? I had a review that had to go up the next day, and hadn’t finished a review book recently, yeah it’s been one of those months.

Due to working so much, I haven’t been able to keep up with any of my hobbies, & thus my reading has just plummeted and it’s a really sad feeling, when you have 10 books to review, and no interest in even trying to review them, even though you know you’d probably enjoy reading them alot. I’m not sure if anyone else has dealt with this? if so, tell me in the comments how you dealt with it because wow I really am NOT dealing with it as well as I thought I would be. ANYWAYS, I thought I’d tell you guys what 10 books I have to read & review.

I’M CURRENTLY READING 2 OF 10

  1. An Ember In The Ashes by Sabaa Tahir ( around 150ish pages in )
  2. Strange WeatherΒ  by Joe Hill (about 60 pages in )

  1. Echo After Echo by Amy Rose Capetta
  2. Everless by Sara Holland
  3. A Torch Against The Night by Sabaa Tahir
  4. Invictus by Ryan Graudin
  5. Burning Glass by Ashlyn Purdie
  6. The City of Brass by S.A Chakraborty
  7. Indigo Blue by Jessica Watson
  8. Scythe by Neil Shusterman

So that’s it ? I wont be posting anything tomorrow, as I need a day to recover and hopefully fix this somehow, but all going well I will be back on monday with a review.

until next time,
Sarah

  1. I know the feeling! I’ve been on a reading slump during the holidays. I’m trying to get back to reading and blogging now. Goodluck to us and happy reading! ❀
