LET’S CATCH UP ON REVIEWS…

Reviews, they sure do pile up huh?

Well, mine have and today I’m going to do some housekeeping. I’ll be doing quick reviews on the last few books that need reviewing.

I’m only going to be talking about books I’ve received from publishers, mainly because I’ve read over 10 books since I was last on this blog….. and no one likes a long blog post!

So, here we go!

ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL STRANGERS - ELIZABETH KLEHFOTH

MY RATING: ★★★★
WARNINGS: Murder & Suicide talks.
FROM: Penguin.
THOUGHTS: This was a super fun YA mystery. It’s the kind of book I’d recommend to those new to the genre. Personally, I didn’t fall in love with this one, but it did surprise me with its twists and turns. The ending also had some beautiful messages that are really important for the younger generations.

SNAPSHOT - BRANDON SANDERSON

MY RATING: ★★★★
WARNINGS: None that come to mind.
FROM: Hachette.
THOUGHTS. This was a fun Novella and my first venture into the world of Brandon Sanderson. The plot was very twisted and I didn’t see anything coming. It definitely felt like a story that could be expanded and needed to be. I think the plot was the highlight of this story, and the rest was a little lacking. I’d recommend this to fans of his work, and people wanting to test his works out.

DANCING IN THE DARK - T.L MARTIN

MY RATING: ★★★★
WARNINGS: A dark and twisted story full of blood and pain.
FROM: Koru House.
THOUGHTS: This is the perfect NA book for fans of dark romances that have a hint of mystery. The plot is thicker than the romance which is very nice, but the plot twists are a little predictable. This story has some very stuffed up family relationships and histories, but it is a good read. An NA Romance/Mystery that is definitely not for children, yikes.

That’s it, The three reviews I needed to get out there in the world. I 100% appreciate how patient the publishing houses have been with me while studying. As always, all thoughts are my own and I don’t receive any money for these reviews.

Until next time,
Sarah

  1. I’ve never heard of Snapshot by Sanderson. My dad is a big fan of his though, so maybe I should try it out? I know he has some high fantasy books that are pretty long…a novella sounds doable though. The twisting plot sounds like a plus! Thanks for a lovely post 🙂
