Hello March 🌻🌻🌻

The month where in NZ we finally say goodbye to summer. So goodbye to the heatwaves, the forest fires and the droughts. The harsh sun was nice at first but it’s time for cloudy days and rainy nights. Welcome, Autumn.

Tell me below, what are your plans for March?

For me, it’s going to be a weird month. In just over a month, I will be flying off to europe ( A 28 hour flight with littleliterary, kill us now ) so it’s crack down time on getting ready.

I had hoped, by this point to be at 20 books read, and the halfway point in my novel. I’m at neither of those things so this month I’m going to dial back my expectations so that when I surpass them, I’ll be proud.

WRITING.

Reach chapter 13. AKA the halfway point in my novel. I’ve been having alot of issues with this, but I know once I get this first draft done and dusted, the next book will be so much easier. So I need to push through. If I follow through with this plan and on this schedule…. I will finish my book in June this year. Hopefully.

READING.Β

I’ve shortened my TBR this time, I found trying to make a structured TBR just stressed me out, so this time I’ve picked four books, one book a week that I want to read.

  1. SKYWARD – BRANDON SANDERSON

  2. THE HELICOPTER HEIST – JONAS BRONNIER

  3. ELDEST – CHRISTOPHER PAOLINIΒ

  4. ROYAL ASSASSIN – ROBIN HOBB

So, what are YOUR plans for March?

  1. I’m totally with you on setting manageable TBR goals for a month – you feel way better when you surpass it, plus you’re not bound to reading things you might not feel like at the time. In March I have 6 books I’d like to get to, might get a little tough because my husband and I are planning on moving in either March or April! Wish we were in the middle/end of summer right now like you, but up in Minnesota, USA we’re in the middle of a snowy winter that doesn’t look like it’s letting up anytime soon 😦
