Marvel Booktag

I found this tag on KRISTEN @ KRISTEN KRAVES BOOKS blog and I just had to give it a go as I used to devour Black Widow comics.

IRON MAN:
A BOOK THAT MADE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD

SCYTHE – This book features two main characters who are so sassy. They’re constantly bantering with each other and it always made me laugh

CAPTAIN AMERICA:
A BOOK THAT SENDS A POSITIVE MESSAGE

A TRAGIC KIND OF WONDERFUL – This was one of the first books that really focused on a mental illness, and did so in a positive way. It gave the message that it’s okay to ask for help, and that medicine and therapists can be helpful.

THOR:
A BOOK WITH A CHARACTERโ€™S STRENGTH YOU ADMIRE

THE FOXHOLE COURT – Neil, jesus christ Neil. He is probaly the strongest character I know. Being on the run since he was eleven and burying his own mother at around fifteen. He undergoes literal torture and so much more and he just keeps going.

BLACK WIDOW:
A BOOK WITH A KICK-ASS FEMALE PROTAGONIST

NEVERNIGHT – Mia is my queen, through and through. She inspires both fear and reverence within others. Shes a bad ass assassin that would give Natasha Romanova a run for her money.

HULK:
A BOOK THAT MADE YOU INCREDIBLY ANGRY

ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES – This was a bad book for me to read at the height of my MI issues. I literally threw this out my bedroom window. It really pushes the idea that meds and therapists are unhelpful, and when one of the MC’s commits suicide at the end, it furthers the idea that if you commit suicide, others will remember you fondly.

HAWKEYE:
AN UNDERRATED BOOK YOU THINK MORE PEOPLE SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO

THE RIFT – This is by a kiwi author so I’m a little biased but it features unique characters and a plot about animals. There are familiars, a wild herd of deer and wolven like animals that escape through a rift to kill the deer. It was an action packed fantasy standalone that I loved

*BONUS* LOKI:
A BOOK WITH A TWIST OR SURPRISE THAT TRICKED YOU

THE NEVER GAME – I actually read this last month and boy oh boy. The reveal of the killer genuinely surprised me. I was so hooked in I forgot there would most likely be a twist and when it hit me I was baffled!

Thanks for reading friends, If you want to do this, consider yourself tagged! tag me so I can see your answersย
