Here is a healthy Haul for the month of Novemeber, filled with books from my birthday, lots of brought books, and a few from some lovely publishers
THE GIRL THE SEA GAVE BACK – Adrienne Young
From NEW SOUTH BOOKS! My review for it is RIGHT HERE.
STARSIGHT – Brandon Sanderson
From HACHETTE NZ! I need to get to this ASAP
THE STORM CROW – Kalyn Joesphson
I’ve been waiting for this for so long! My review is coming on wednesday!
THE END OF THE OCEAN – MAJA LUNDE
For my birthday, as you’ll see below, I got THE HISTORY OF BEES. I can’t wait to try this popular author out!
THE QUEEN OF NOTHING – HOLLY BLACK
It’s the finale to a very popular series. I’m going to pick it up asap just to get it over with before the hype dies down. I’m both excited and nervous for this one.
If there is a star beside the title, and no info, that’s because they all fit under this info: On my birthday I went to the second-hand bookshop in my town and let myself buy as many books as I wanted! I made myself stick to books on my radar or a continuation of a series!
THE LIES OF LOCKE LAMORA – Scott Lynch *
This is the one I know the least about, but I wanted to give it a go
BITTERBLUE – Kristin Cashore *
ASSASSINS APPRENTICE – Robin Hobb *
I read this earlier this year, I’m happy to now physically own it
AURORA RISING – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff *
FLORIDA – Lauren Groff *
THE BEAUTIFUL – Renee Ahdieh
I really enjoyed the FLAME IN THE MIST DUOLOGY, and vampires are SO my thing so I had to get my hands on this of course.
IF WE WERE VILLAINS – M. L Rio
While I have only read one dark acadamia book, they own my soul and I am making a collection of them to feed my dark soul.
HAIKYU! VOL 1 & 2 – Haruchi Furudate
You guys have no idea how long this has been on my TBR. After The Foxhole Court, I wanted to get my hands on anything sport-related that has a similar vibe.
THE HISTORY OF BEES – Maja Lunde
CLOCKWORK ANGEL (10th-anniversary edition) – Cassandra Clare
I gave both my nana and Sister a handful of books to choose from for my birthday and they picked these two which is super exciting as I really wanted the anniversary edition of CA and I’ve been wanting to read THE HISTORY OF BEES for a while!
QUEEN OF RUIN – TRACEY BANGHART
My lovely friend Jess brought this for me for my birthday and I am so excited to read it (it’s the sequel to grace & fury) and honestly, the fact that she brought me a book is just so kind?????
So that’s it for my monthly haul!
Are any of these your favourites? or did we haul the same books this month?
