Today I’m bringing you my December TBR. It’s not super big, because I don’t know how much I will truly get read with the holiday season approaching, and knowing me I won’t stick to these books, but I’ll try anyway.
DEATHNOTE – VOLUME 6 ( BLACK EDITION )
This is the last two volumes in a bind up for Deathnote, I’m really interested to see how it ends but I also, am really worried I won’t like how it ends. Only time will tell I guess!
ONE DAY IN DECEMBER – JOSIE SILVER
I have been holding onto this book so I could read it in december, obviously. All I know is it is a rom-com esque novel that is cute and heartwarming. I’m planning on curling up with a coffee and a blanket one day to read this all in one go and I am EXCITED.
FLORIDA – LAUREN GROFF
This is a collection of short stories that has become highly acclaimed. I’ve seen it at work multiple times and always looked at it, considering it. But when I saw it at a second hand shop I knew I had to buy it. As soon as I brought it I became desperate to read it so I can’t wait to get to this one honestly even though I know nothing about it.
IF WE WERE VILLAINS – M.L RIO
This has been on my radar for so long but I kept putting off reading it. After I finished Ninth House, I got into the biggest mood for dark academia novels and I knew how popular this one was, so I finally bit the bullet and grabbed it. (also, hi, 9.13pm of Dec 1st and I am 100 pages into this and it has been so long since I have panicked for a character this early on, just wow)
QUEEN OF RUIN – TRACEY BANGHART
I read GRACE AND FURY at the start of the year, and while I only gave it 3.5 stars, I’ve been thinking about it off and on, and when I was gifted this for my birthday, I knew I had to know how Noni and Serina’s story ends
I won’t go much into these other than, they are sitting in a pile glaring at me. If I have any more than one review book to get to at a time, I panic 😅
- BLOOD HEIR – AMELIE WEN ZHAO
- STARSIGHT – BRANDON SANDERSON
- THE END OF THE OCEAN – MAJA LUNDE
So there is my December TBR, apparently not so short and sweet at 8 books long.
Are any of these books on your December TBR?
