In my last post (found here) I told you all about the three goals I had for myself and my reading this year. Now I’m coming to you with my quarterly goals.
I use these quarterly goals to help make sure I get my yearly goals accomplished and to set smaller goals that I can focus on the side as well so not all of these relate back to my main three goals.
So, here are my mini goals for the first quarter. Each month in this bullet journal page I tick off what I have accomplished to keep myself accountable on those goals!
READ OR UNHAUL 15 BOOKS FROM MY 2019 TBR
So, as you guys saw in THIS post, I have a massive TBR from last year and years prior that I really want to wheedle down to nothing. A yearly goal is to get it under 100 books so I’m aiming to read or unhaul 15 books from it each quarter.
Hopefully, I will read 15 books, not unhaul 15, but I’ll do whatever I have to to hit that number.
READ 20 BOOKS TOTAL
I find this to be pretty accomplishable since it means I need to read 6-7 books a month which is a really comfortable speed for me.
FINISH 3 SERIES
Did you know, for the longest time I didn’t really think about how many series I had started and not really abandoned, but forgotten to continue? Turns out, it’s over 30 and there is a handful that I already own the whole series for. So, yeah, I want to try to get three finished at least.
CATCH UP ON 3 MANGA SERIES
So, 2019 was the year of Manga for me, but I only finished ONE series. Because of how long a lot of Manga is, I don’t actually have the whole series in any of the manga I own ( o o p s ? ) So, I want to continue the series I own, up to where I have them (i.e AOT to 8, Haikyu to 2) and then decide from there if I want to continue them etc.
READ 3 OLDER BOOKS
Now this one is kind of subjective, I’m not talking about the OLDEST book I own (by oldest I mean have owned for the longest) But some of the oldest. I think if the book is at least a year and a half old on my physical shelf, it counts. So I will check out my Goodreads once a month and make sure to pick a book that’s been there for quite a while.
So, do you do quarterly goals? If so, tell me what yours are down below!
Until next time,
