Are you well?
about two weeks ago, I made a post called WHY I THINK WEEKLY TBR’S WORK BETTER FOR ME Where I kind of blabbed and only sort of explained the why, and showed off some of my weekly TBR’s from my instagram.
I have semi formulated a formula for my weekly TBR’s
- A MANGA/COMIC/GRAPHIC NOVEL – because I have 17 left that I own and need to get to.
- A novel – This one depends on my priorities, Do I have review books to get to? If not, I try to pick something older or part of a series if possible.
I decided, since I won’t be doing monthly TBR’s, I could at least show you guys what the first week of each month is meant to look like, However in Feb, we have the 1st and 2nd on a weekend. So, this time, you’ll get to see my weekend, AND first week TBR. So here we go!
FEBRUARY 1ST & 2ND
SO. I thought I’d be chill for the weekend, nice and relaxed. SIMPLE. CALM. Yet somehow, I have decided one book in 2 days is not good enough. SO…. heres my TBR.
I chose two SHORT books, ones I could finish in a day a piece because that would satisfy my weird need to read as many books as I can in a month.
NIGHT – ELLIE WIESEL
FENCE VOL 2 – C.S PASCAT
FEBRUARY 3RD TO 9TH
Because I am a neurotic planner, I’m writing this post on the 23rd of Jan, so I’m not 100% sure on my TBR yet. What I DO know is I will be reading these TWO books. Tokyo Ghoul is something I buddy read with my best friend every thursday morning, and The Tao of Pooh is a review book. I am yet to pick my Audiobook.
TOKYO GHOUL #10
THE TAO OF POOH AND THE TE OF PIGLET – BENJAMIN HOFF
And that’s it! I know, for some people this is weird but I think it might work for me. You’ll know by the end of the month at least!
So tell me, since you wont be seeing monthly TBR’s any time soon, would you like to see the first week TBR & any books I know for sure I will read each month?
